only if there is a rescue group that has one and they happen to be at petsmart.

add- PETSMART DOES NOT SELL PUPPIES! they have rescue groups come in for adoption days.

Maybe a scottish terrier plush toy!

Pet stores are not the place to buy dogs, and PetSmart does not sell dogs.

    I sincerely hope not.

I wish you couldn’t buy ANY dog at Petsmart.

Please think about going to a decent breeder and not get your dog from a badly run puppy mill that provides shops with pups.

Add on – I am very pleased to hear that you cannot buy dogs at any Petsmart or similar stores. I know you can’t UK but wasn’t sure about elsewhere.

    Petsmart doesnt sell dogs.

There are adoption groups that display their adoptable pets at petsmart tho, so it is possible to adopt a dog thru an adoption group that is there.

Petsmart doesn’t sell dogs. What they do is shelters will hold adoption days there, and yes, if there are Scotties up for adoption, you can apply to adopt one. You won’t get it right away, as they’ll do a background check, call your references, etc. first, but a couple days later you’ll get a call saying yay or nay. Decent people get a yay.

Edit: People, Petsmart and Petco maybe sell hamsters or something like that for pets, but that’s about it. And I’m not even sure they’re for sale. I never looked.

You can if there is a Rescue that goes through Petsmart.

Just an FYI, most puppies that you see in pet stores are from puppy mills.

Please do not buy a dog at a pet store of any kind (unless it’s adoption days). 99% of the time they are from puppy mills, the conditions of which are horrendous. If you must have a scottie, then find a rescue group or a reputable breeder. If you use a breeder, go to the facilities and check the parents and the living conditions out for yourself. POP in an ad means parents on premises/property. Do your research.

Please do not ever buy a puppy from a pet store, Because they are bred in puppy mills/farms and are sickly

no but they do hold ADOPTION DAYS and you may be able to ADOPT one from there.

PetSmart doesn’t sell dogs. The chain is very active in promoting animal rescue efforts and allows rescue groups to hold adoption events at the store. It is possible that you could find a Scottie at one of these events (possible, not probable). If you are interested in a Scottie, check into breed rescue or check petfinder.org. Pure bred Scotties are not that common and can be difficult to adopt. Many rescue groups will not adopt out of state, to families with small children, or to families without a fenced yard. Also, many Scottie rescue groups want families with previous Scottie or terrier experience due to the challenges of this breed.

Scotties are the absolute best in my opinion. Good luck with your search. When I began hunting for a rescue, it took 9 months to find a dog and get approved.

Put in your zip to find a bunch near you.
Don’t buy adopt a very appreciative little one.

You might want to consider adopting a dog from a shelter house. Check this out.
